Speakers
Phil Maffetone is trained in the fields of human biology, kinesiology, physiotherapy and Chinese medicine. Phil is a pioneer in the field of biofeedback and a much sought-after international speaker on exercise physiology and sports nutrition and is the founder of the MAF Method. Phil has written over 20 books including The Big Book of Health and Fitness which serves as a veritable bible for those with a healthy lifestyle and his textbook Complementary Sports Medicine has been published in four languages. Recently specialising in coaching elite athletes, Phil was named Coach of the Year by Triathlete Magazine and credited by Inside Triathlon as one of the Top 20 most influential people in endurance sports, worldwide.
Chris Astill-Smith is a registered osteopath, lecturer in nutrition and dietetics and a Diplomate with the International College of Applied Kinesiology. Chris is an acclaimed
international lecturer on clinical biochemistry, nutrition, nutritional supplements and herbal medicine. Chris is the founder and original research director of Metabolics UK, a company pioneering nutritional supplements free of fillers and stabilisers. Chris has also founded Epigenetics International, another UK-based company that produces nutritional supplements of the highest quality. Chris has lectured many times in Australia for health professionals such as chiropractors, osteopaths and other health professionals.
